Wheel Diameter vs Tire Diameter

Wheel diameter is only part of the equation when determining compatibility. Compatibility of a spare is determined by the total rolling diameter of the system, which is the same as the tire diameter. If the spare tire diameter matches within 3% of the other tires in the system, then it is compatible.
This allows you to run 18" wheels on a vehicle that may have been originally equipped with 19", 20", or even 21" wheels.
As a reminder, this product is designed to be used in emergencies and should not be considered a replacement. We recommend using the spare only to get you to where you can purchase a tire replacement. Keep vehicle speed under 50 MPH while using this product.
